IKON Ultralite Front Rim OS20 451x28 36H

Made of 6061 Aluminum with an anodized finish, IKON UltraLite rims are specially designed for the practice of BMX Racing in competition. They are available with 2 different aero rim profiles for the front or the rear depending on the type of braking used. In addition, they have slightly inclined holes, for a more direct angle offering a more rigid shelving.

IKON UltraLite Alloy are specifically designed for BMX Racing. IKON is offering 2 unique rim profiles, one for the Brakeless Surface and one for the Brake Surface Rim.The light weight, double walled rim has slightly angled spoke nipple openings, for a more direct spoke/nipple angle that helps offer a stronger wheel build. The Brakeless surface rim features an aero design, while the Brake Surface rim has a machined brake tack for better stopping power. Both rims feature a brilliant finish obtained by a double polished method and then beautiful anodized in Black. We finish off the look with a Water Transfer Graphic that is offered in 4 colors on the Black rim, giving you one of the best looking and lightest rims for BMX racing made today!

IKON rims feature a Bead Lock System, needed for the rim to be Tubeless Ready. With the installation of additional items needed you can get the rim ready for tubeless set up, along with the usage of a tubeless specific tire. With a tubeless set up, you can lighten up your wheels, saveing rotational weight, as well as have a sealant inside your tubeless ready tire to help automatically repair small punctures. Additional items needed to convert to a Tubeless system include Special Valve, Sealant Rim Tape, and Liquid sealer.

OS20 is not 22" diameter but larger 20" diameter. The OS20 is therefore a higher and larger diameter for stiffness and velocity. It was designed to offer more speed and less rolling resistance compared to the conventional 20 "diameter.
